PRE-REQUISITES FOR BECOMING A JUNIOR CLASS LEADER;
1. ENTHUSIASM – Love of Martial arts & willingness to help others.2. WILLINGNESS – To learn and improve your skills.
3. MARTIAL ART EXPERIENCE – minimum of 5th Kyu Green Belt AFMA
4. COMMITMENT – Time to assist on a regular basis.
5. GOOD CHARACTER – Role model for students and their community
CLASS LEADER PROGRAM
- Class Leadership program. Learn new skills, how to become a better leader, project your voice, use your body language and some basic coaching principles.
- Excellent and Fun school holiday workshop. Training, Practice coaching, Lunch, refreshments, and Martial Arts training DVD's.
- Receive specialized training and ongoing support to help you become a class leader and develop leadership skills.
- Get valuable experience that may assist you in becoming a respected leader in martial arts, but also in other parts of your life (school, other teams, hobbies, family, etc)
- Become an important member of the volunteer instructor team
- Be part of Proactive AFMA. A positive and strong reputation with over 20 years of goodwill & history. Taught to tens of thousands of people.
- Help beginners achieve; improved skills, confidence, respect, and focus.
- Certificate and Class Leaders Badge to wear on the left sleeve of Gi on successful completion of program and active class leadership in novice classes.
